There isn't even an article on her (yet!), but Lady Mary Coke (1726-1811), daughter of John Campbell, 2nd duke of Argyll and his second wife, Jane Warburton (1683-1767), should be included on this list. She was a friend and contemporary of Horace Walpole and her diaries and letters have been cited in biographies about other major (and minor) late 18th century British figures (e.g. Improper Pursuits: The Scandalous Life of an Earlier Lady Diana Spencer and Georgiana: Duchess of Devonshire). The Castle of Otranto has a dedicatory sonnet about her, for heaven's sake. Surely there can be at least some vague mention of her somewhere on wikipedia?
