Division of historical regions

[edit]

Hello, you all

Because of some confusion, I demand an answer : how are historical regions supposed to be arranged? Must they only be in national subcategories, only in the big all-encompassing "historical regions" or both at the same time? Personally, I support having historical regions be in both of those. Let me explain, having all historical regions be easily accesible next to one another in the big "historical regions" is a good thing, it allows one to be surprised by clicking on random pages with curiosity without doing the tedious task of manually choosing a country first (in other words it support the learning and educative mission of Wikipedia). But if one wanted to be more precise in the scope of historical regions and was interested in a specific modern-day country, he can go to the national subcategory to narrow down the choices. It's a win-win, the best of both worlds we can have if we allow them to be this way. Currently, some pages only have one or the other, it's confusing, contradictory and not intuitive. This is why both categories should be present in all concerned pages, despite one being a subcategory of another. --96.22.228.193 (talk) 19:50, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"I demand an answer". Grow up. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:46, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I just want an answer to a legit question, what's the problem with that? You weren't obligated to reply to me in this fashion.--96.22.228.193 (talk) 22:39, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
