Brindisi Rosso and Ostuni Ottavianello are both Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC), which are geographically defined production regions with certain rules as to production. While I would personally prefer to call DOCs and DOCGs subregions or districts rather than regions as such, there is a clear tendency to use the term "wine region" for variable sizes of officially defined wine geograpy. Such subjects are in general categorized either under Category:Wine regions (no generic terms for wine geography under region in size but above specific DOC/DOCG/DO/AOCs is in current use for WP:WINE articles) or under Category:Appellations. If you're not too familiar with a subject, please at least check the content of articles in a category before changing the categorization. Tomas e (talk) 20:56, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In that case rename this to 'Wine regions of Apulia'; and change the criteria for inclusion, so that people who can read are not misled into expecting to find something one can drink rather than a place to visit. Occuli (talk) 16:35, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
