Cole Tucker is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.
Career
Tucker attended Mountain Pointe High School in Phoenix, Arizona, where he played for the school's baseball team.[1] He played for the United States national baseball team in the 2013 18U Baseball World Cup.[2] The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Tucker in the first round, with the 24th overall selection, of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[3] He signed on June 12, 2014, and was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Pirates.[4]
Tucker will spend the first part of the 2015 season with the Pirate's class-A affiliate, the West Virginia Power, in Charleston WV.
