"Dance Alone " is a song performed by Macedonian singer Jana Burčeska . The song represented Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 . It was written by Joacim Persson , Johan Alkanaes, Florence A. and Borislav Milanov. The song's music video was revealed on 10 March 2017, while it was released as a digital download on 10 April through Universal Music .[2] [3]
Eurovision Song Contest
On 22 November 2016, Burčeska was confirmed to be the Macedonian entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 , and the Macedonian broadcaster, Macedonian Radio Television (MRT), began accepting song submissions from interested composers.[4] [5] The potential Eurovision entries were shortlisted on 22 January 2017.[6] The music video of the song, "Dance Alone", was later revealed on 10 March, while it was released as a digital download a month later.[2] [3] Macedonia competed in the first half of the second semi-final at the Eurovision Song Contest.[7] [8] but failed to reach the final.
