David Hidalgo Jr. (born December 3, 1977) is an American drummer currently playing in Social Distortion.[1] Hidalgo replaced former drummer Scott Reeder, who had been busy with his main project Fu Manchu. Prior to joining Social Distortion, he played drums in The Drips and Suicidal Tendencies. He also plays drums for the Hardcore Punk band Bullet Treatment with a variety of lineups that also included members of Rise Against, The Bronx, Cancer Bats, Anti-Flag and others. He is the son of David Hidalgo, guitarist and singer of Los Lobos.
