Discovery Jeet is a Hindi general entertainment channel launched by Discovery Networks Asia Pacific on February 12, 2018.[1]

History[edit]

This channel replaced Investigation Discovery on February 1, 2018 and was officially launched on February 12, 2018.[1] The company also shifted their headquarters from Delhi to Mumbai which is more suited for building a national general entertainment channel.[2] It aims to create 1000 hours of original content a year. The shows will also be available digitally via Netflix.[1]

The channel had a reach of 140 million on the day of launch.[3] Discovery Jeet is also available on Jio TV app and Airtel TV app.[4]

Discovery announced plans to revamp the channel with dubbed content from Scripps after low ratings.[5]
