Disenchantment is an upcoming adultanimated sitcom created by Matt Groening.[1] Twenty episodes of the series have been ordered by Netflix[2] with the first ten episodes scheduled to be released in 2018.[3] The series is Groening's first production for Netflix; he previously helmed The Simpsons and Futurama for Fox.
Premise
The series follows the story of Bean, an alcoholic princess, her elf companion Elfo and her “personal demon” Luci, who live in a medieval kingdom known as Dreamland.[4]
The series, created by The Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening “will bear his trademark animation style”. The series will be animated by Rough Draft Studios, the same studio that worked on Futurama,[5] and is planned for a 10 episode first season in 2018.[5]
