Divandarreh (Persian: ديواندره, Kurdish: Dîwandere – دیواندهره, also Romanized as Dīvāndarreh, Dīvān Darreh, Dīvan Darra, and Dīwān Darreh)[2] is a city and capital of Divandarreh County, Kurdistan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,842, in 5,305 families.[3]
The spoken language in the city is Kurdish, but the language which is used in schools and offices is Farsi, since the official language in Iran is Persian Almost everyone in the city are fluent in Farsi.
