Food Square is a luxury gourmet supermarket brand in India[1], owned by LandCraft Retail Private Limited. The company was founded in 2023 by IIT Bombay graduate Mayank Gupta and Lalit Jhawar, a graduate of Kingston University, UK.

Food Square's first store is located on Linking Road in Santacruz, Mumbai, and is housed in a commercial building owned by the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.[2].

Food Square offers a wide range of luxury and premium products, including fresh produce, meat and seafood, imported groceries, and luxury goods[3]. The store also has live kitchens, a wine cellar, and a luxury cutlery collection from Versace.

The 25,000 square foot[4] luxury gourmet supermarket is designed for HNIs and expatriates to shop comfortably without being disturbed.[5]

Vision[edit]

Gupta and Jhawar have a vision to position Food Square as the Harrods of India. They aim to offer a unique and luxurious shopping experience to their customers, with a focus on quality, freshness, hygiene and variety.
