Like many of the other prominent outlaw motorcycle clubs, the Outlaws Motorcycle Club actively administers a number of subordinate supporter clubs located in various parts of the world.[1][2]
Background on support clubs
[edit]Support clubs, also known as puppet clubs, are auxiliary biker clubs which are overseen by a larger, more distinguished motorcycle club (MC) and operate under the authority of such.[3][4] These groups are commonly utilized by their parent MCs to generate financial support, purposes of recruitment, and ___________.[5]
In the context of law enforcement, however, prominent "one-percenter"-style outlaw motorcycle clubs (biker gangs) have been known to employ their subordinate support clubs predominantly to assist with criminal dealings such as _________, testing out ___________, acting as surrogates in gangland conflicts with rivaling groups.[6] They are also used as a means to distance themselves from more "street-level" crimes linked to their __________.
Identification of Outlaws MC support clubs
[edit]"S.Y.L.O." (Support Your Local Outlaws) along with the number 15 (the corresponding alphanumerical number to the letter "O") are perhaps the most frequently used signifier to indicate affiliation with the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.[7] Other common identifiers include "AOA (American Outlaws Association) Affiliated", "Outlaws MC Affilitated", "Black & White Nation", "O.F.F.O." (Outlaws Forever, Forever Outlaws), "Outlaw Nation" and "G.F.O.D." (God Forgives, Outlaws Don't).[8]
It is also a distinguishing characteristic for Outlaws MC support clubs to retain the same black-and-white color scheme used by the Outlaws Motorcycle Club on their own club colors. The signature "crossed pistons" used on the Outlaws MC logo are sometimes used as well by affiliated supporter clubs.[9]
