Comment: To be "notable" as a WP:Creative the article needs reliable, secondary, independent sources that support the subject's "major role" as a creative. Monique Reymond is an American foley artist for film and television and meditation teacher. She has received seventeen industry nominations and was awarded three Emmy’s and two Golden Reel Awards. Movie Insider interviewed Monique for their series of videos about the art of foley where she discusses foley in reality television[1] and animation.[2] Monique is featured in the textbook, Audio Production and Post Production,[3] which is used at film schools and universities worldwide.
Early Life[edit]
Reymond was born in in Sialkot, Pakistan, and was adopted at five days old. She relocated to the United States with her adoptive parents. Monique attended Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona where she studied theater arts for performance, directing and set design.
Film career[edit]
Monique’s first job in the film industry was as a P.A. in Noah Baumbach's first film, Kicking and Screaming and went on to work as an art department coordinator on Female Perversions, starring Tilda Swinton and Amy Madigan before stepping foot into post sound.

Yoga and meditation[edit]
Monique received certification through the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan in Los Angeles under the tutelage of Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Harijiwan and Tej Kaur Khalsa.
After leaving Golden Bridge, Tej began her own studio, Nine Treasures Yoga. Monique studied with Tej for over eight years.
When Pamela Dyson's book, Premka: White Bird in a Golden Cage, My Life with Yogi Bhajan[4] was released in January of 2020, accusing Bhajan of sexual abuse, others followed suit. The Olive Branch, an independent council, 3HO, the "Healthy Happy Holy" organization founded by Bhajan, concluded that Bhajan guilty of rape and abuse of multiple women[4].
Reymond helped pilot the yoga program at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Believing Bhajan was guilty as charged, she developed a hybrid class that was featured on the front page of the Los Angeles Times, in an article, penned by Jon Healey.[5]
Channel 1111[edit]
Reymond founded Channel 1111, which aims to impact through creative collaboration.
In 2020, Channel 1111 hosted events in Los Angeles to raise awareness of the plight of women and girls in the Middle East and donation based outdoor yoga events to raising funds for Operation Blankets of Love
