Tharshan Thiyagarajah is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil films.
Early life and career[edit]
Tharshan Thyagaraja is a Sri Lankan born Indian actor and model. He was born on 17 September 1990 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Tharashan has a zodiac sign of Virgo, Tharashan mother name is Shyamala Thyagaraja, and his sister name is Thushara Thyagaraja.

Tharshan went to a local school in Jaffna for school education and for college education he went to Asia Pacific Institute of information technology (APIIT), Colombo, Sri Lanka from where he had done B.Tech in software engineering. tharshan has also done a job for five years in an IT company in the USA. But he left that company when he got transferred to Australia to pursue his dream career of modeling and acting.

Tharshan had done many auditions firstly when he came back to Sri Lanka after leaving a job. He had also participated in mister Sri Lanka international competition in 2016, and he has won that competition.
He pursued a career in modeling and gained popularity as a successful model in Canada. Tharshan is known for his charming looks and confident personality, which helped him make a mark in the modeling industry.
From then, he has started getting offers from different modeling companies and agencies. Tharshan has also featured in songs and commercials. He then started his journey toward his passion for acting. For that, he went to the south Indian film industry. Tharshan started his career in India from appearing in commercials, and then in 2018; he got the role of a villain in the movie called “Verenna Vendum[1].” .
Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3[2][edit]
In 2019, Tharshan became a household name in Tamil Nadu, India, when he participated in the popular reality TV show "Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3." The show, hosted by actor Kamal Haasan[3], brought him immense fame and a massive fan following. Tharshan's genuine and friendly nature won the hearts of the audience, and he emerged as one of the most popular contestants of that season.
September 2021, Tharshan Thiyagarajah had made his acting debut with the film "Verenna Vendum" in 2020.
Following his success in "Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3," he continued to make strides in the Tamil film industry and was cast in significant roles.
In the movie "Koogle Kuttappa,[4][5][6][7]" released in 2022 and directed by K. S. Ravikumar, Tharshan Thiyagarajah portrayed the character "Aadhi" in a main role alongside veteran actor Subramani Gounder, played by K. S. Ravikumar himself.
Expected to play the main lead role as the hero in the much-awaited Indian Tamil film "Naadu,"[8] Tharshan Thiyagarajah's portrayal as the protagonist, alongside actor Mahima Nambiar[8].
