East Franklin is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Franklin Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.[5][6][7] As of the 2010 United States Census, East Franklin's population was 8,669.[3]

According to the United States Census Bureau, East Franklin had a total area of 1.088 square miles (2.817 km2), including 1.086 square miles (2.812 km2) of land and 0.002 square miles (0.004 km2) of water (0.15%).[1][4]
