I'm quite unsure this logo can be claimed as unelligible for copyright, even according to US law. The company separately uses the X-looking symbol as a marque logo, and it may be beyond the treshold of originality by itself. It's certainly tricky to say it's just a "typeface" or a "simple geometric shape". Anyway, as I said I'm not sure, but I left my thoughts to be considered before this logo is moved to Commons. --Urbanoc (talk) 16:27, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If it cannot be claimed as C-ineligible, then the licensing can be rolled back to the fair-use NFUR version of the file page. However, both the NIO marque logo and the Rivian marque logo exist on COMMONS and are more sophisticated symbols than this stylized X, without the alphabetic meaning, as PD-simple and PD-shape images, so this would seem to indicated that this stylized X is (C)-ineligible. -- 70.51.201.106 (talk) 09:00, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
