Gerard William Battersby (born May 15, 1960) is an American priest of the Catholic Church and will serve as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2017.

Biography

On May 30, 1998, Battersby was ordained to the priesthood. Pope Francis appointed Battersby auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Detroit on November 23, 2016.[1][2] On January 25, 2017, Battersby was consecrated by Detroit Archbishop Allen Vigneron.
