Go Woo-ri (born February 22, 1988), better known mononym Woori or Go Na-eun[1] is a South Korean singer and actress. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Rainbow and its sub-group, Rainbow Blaxx.

Early life

Go Woo-ri was born in Jeonju, South Korea on February 22, 1988. She studied at Daejeon Arts High School and Korea National Sport University. She was formerly a trainee at SM Entertainment before switching to DSP Media.

Career

Rainbow

Woo-ri debut as the main rapper of the girl group Rainbow and was the last member to join the group. On November 12, 2009, Rainbow released a mini album called Gossip Girl. The group's first broadcast performance of "Gossip Girl" was held at MBC's music show Show! Music Core on November 14, 2009.

Rainbow Blaxx

Woori, Jaekyung, Seungah, and Hyunyoung debuted as Rainbow Blaxx, the second official sub-unit of Rainbow formed in 2014. The group released their first mini-album titled RB Blaxx on January 20, 2014.

Solo activities

On November 10 2011, Woo-ri made her debut as an actress in the film You're My Pet.[2] In 2011, Woo-ri was a cast member in the second season of KBS2's Invincible Youth.[3]

On August February 27, 2012, she made her drama debut in KBS2's I Need a Fairy.

She was then cast as a supporting role in the drama Glorious Day (2014) and Queen's Flower (2015).[4]

In 2018, she stars in the MBN drama ''Yeonnam-dong 539.[5] She was then cast in the horror film Whispers.[6]
