The 2014 Hammersmith and Fulham Council election took place on 22 May 2014 to elect members of Hammersmith and Fulham Council in England.[1] This was on the same day as other local elections.

Opposition (20)

After eight years of Conservative administration, the Labour Party took back control of the council.

The Labour Party won 26 seats (on a 41.9% share of the vote) - a gain of 11 seats and an increase of 7.8% in the share of the vote. The Conservative Party won 20 seats (on a 38.1% vote share) - a loss of 11 seats, and a drop of 5.3% in their share of the votes cast. The Liberal Democrats did not win any seats and won 8.4% of the votes (a drop of 11.4%). The Green Party won 6.6% and UKIP 3.9% of the votes.[2]
