Hanover Central High School (HCHS) is a 9–12 public school located in Cedar Lake, Indiana. It is the only high school in the Hanover Community School Corporation.

The demographic breakdown of the 699 students enrolled in 2014–2015 was:

  • Hispanic – 10.7%
  • White – 84.0%
  • Multiracial – 2.3%

20.9% of the students were eligible for free or reduced lunch.[2]

Athletics

The Hanover Central Wildcats are members of the Greater South Shore conference. The school colors are cardinal red and Columbia blue. The following IHSAA sanctioned sports are offered:[3]
