Hariram
Baba Hariram (1867–1947) was a saint who lived in Jhorda village, Rajasthan. He is widely considered by local people as a 'god of snakes...who cures snake bites'.
Birth and early life
He was born at Jhorda village 30 km far from Nagaur city of Rajasthan[citation needed] and developed as a local saint of Jhorda .His father's name was Ramnarayan .He was from Joshi clan of Brahmins.[1] He was a Vaidh (doctor) who was famous for curing snake bites.He did not discriminate between different castes for treatment.His brother, Mangilal opposed him doing so,later as legend goes after seeing a miracle his brother understood the truth. Later on, Baba hariram's temple was constructed in Jhorda, Rajasthan and his brother Mangilal's temple was also constructed beside his temple.

Devotees of Baba Hariram are mainly found in Rajasthan, Haryana and southern Punjab. Devotees of Baba Hariram believe that person suffering from snake bite can be cured with blessings of Baba Hariram.
