Hashtpar (Persian: هشتپر, also known as, Hashpar, Hashtpar-e Tavalesh, and Tālesh)^[2] is a city and capital of Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 56,486, in 15,688 families.^[3]
