"The Holy Quran" is the name of a well known Shi'a twelver tafsir, translated by Sayed Mir Ahmed Ali with a comprehensive Introduction and extensive commentary by Ayatullah Mirza Mahdi PuyaYazdi.[citation needed]

The work is one of the tafsirs offered at al-Islam.org [1]

Several Editions are out.

The first edition was printed in Pakistan.

One edition is printed in Iran.

This translation and commentary should NOT be confused with the entirely separate translation of the Quran by the novelist Ahmad Ali.
