Inside (stylised as InSIDE) is a reality competition streaming television series created and hosted by British YouTube group the Sidemen, first livestreamed on 2 June 2024 on the Sidemen YouTube channel.[2] The series features ten celebrity guests who compete in challenges to secure a prize fund totalled at £1 million, with everything they buy or do costing money from the prize fund.[3]

Premise

[edit]

Ten celebrity contestants are selected to stay in a house for a week where they compete in various challenges throughout their stay. Failure to succeed in these challenges results in the loss of money from the final prize. In addition to this, contestants are given access to a tuck shop, which features a small selection of goods. The cost of the products is taken from the prize fund, with the items having a significant markup in order to deter contestants from getting them.[4] There are challenges the contestants do as a team. If they lose in the challenges, the prize fund goes down. There is also a temptation room. When selected the contestant enters the temptation room and must stay in the room for 30 minutes alone with no communication with the other contestants. If a contestant gives in to temptation the prize fund goes down.

Eliminations usually happen by the other contestants voting. With five contestants left a challenge is played. This time instead of money being at stake eliminations are at stake. The challenge is played until two contestants are left.

At the start of the game the contestants were told there can only be one winner, however in a twist the last two contestants left are given a split or steal dilemma.

Broadcast

[edit]

The series 1 premiere and finale were streamed on the Sidemen YouTube channel, with episodes 2-6, and a special best unseen bits, being uploaded to the More Sidemen channel. Alongside this, uncut full length versions of the episodes were made available via the Sidemen's paid subscription service, Side+.

Notes

[edit]
  • ^Note 1 :   On Day 3, as they were named MVPs, Fanum, Leah and Nifè earned immunity.
  • ^Note 2 :   On Day 4, while tied in a vote, Castillo and Leah had to do rock, paper, scissors to determine who stays. Leah lost and was eliminated from the game.
  • ^Note 3 : On Day 5, while Castillo had the most votes, no one was eliminated this round.
  • ^Note 4 :   On Day 6, Ginge had the option where he can buy a ticket FA Cup Final, but would be instantly eliminated from the competition. Ginge bought the ticket and left the game.
  • ^Note 5 : On Day 6, due to a double elimination, everyone had to say two names instead of one to eliminate.
  • ^Note 6 : On Day 7, the final 5 had to compete in a game where the Sidemen chooses one person to be the Betrayer, and the Betrayer chooses turns another housemates light into red, and it’s up for the chosen person to figure out who the Betrayer is. If the housemate chooses who the Betrayer is correctly, the Betrayer is eliminated, but if the housemate chooses incorrectly, the housemate is eliminated instead, and it repeats until 2 remain. Specs, Fanum and Liv were eliminated in 5th, 4th and 3rd, respectively.
