JackBoys (stylized in all caps) is a compilation album[1][2] by JackBoys, a collective of American rappers signed to Cactus Jack Records composed of Travis Scott, Sheck Wes and Don Toliver. The album was released on December 27, 2019. It features guest appearances from Rosalía, Lil Baby, Quavo, Offset, Young Thug, and Pop Smoke.
Background
After the release of Travis Scott's third studio album, Astroworld, artists Sheck Wes and Don Toliver began to rise to popularity after they appeared on the album. Wes's song "Mo Bamba" went viral in 2018, while Toliver's song "No Idea" went viral on the app TikTok in 2019.
On November 29, 2019, Scott released JackBoys merchandise on his website, including a digital album preorder for $10.
On December 24, 2019, Scott revealed on Twitter that the album would be released within the week.[3]
On December 26, 2019, a day before the album was released, the cover art was revealed and the song titles were leaked on Shazam.[4]
