Laguna Copperplate Inscription (c. 900 AD) which mention a person named Jayadewa as the ruler of Tondo at that time.

Jayadewa or Jayadeva, Gat Dyadewa (full title: Senapati Jayadewa or Admiral Jayadeva) was a possible ruler or minister of the Kingdom of Tondo during its early years (Early Classical Period Philippines).[1] He had the title of senapati or admiral in Sanskrit.

No records describe his life and works. In the Laguna Copperplate Inscription, he is mentioned as the ruler or minister of the Tondo in 900 CE, where he gave a pardon for a debt to a person named Namwaran and his family.

"On this occasion, Lady Angkatan, and her brother, Bukah, the children of the Honourable Namwaran, were awarded a complete pardon from the Overall Leader [King] of Tundún, represented by the Lord Minister of Pailáh, Jayadewa."[1]
