Kana Lais Oya[2] (born November 10, 1987, in Belém, Brazil), simply known as Kana Oya (大屋 夏南, Ōya Kana), is a Japanese model who is represented by the talent agency, LDH.[3] She was raised in Shizuoka.

Biography

Oya was born in Belém, Brazil.[4] Her father is Brazilian and her mother is Japanese Brazilian.[1] She emigrated to Shizuoka Prefecture when she was three years old.[5]

In 2003, she was a finalist for Elite Model Look.[2] Oya debuted as a model when she was seventeen years old.[6]

In 2005, she moved to Tokyo after graduating from high school to start her full-scale model activities.

In August 2013, Oya moved from Elite Japan (now Name Management) to LDH.[1]
