Kim Woo-bin (born Kim Hyun-joong on July 16, 1989) is a South Korean actor and model.[1]

Career

Kim Hyun Joong debuted as a runway model in 2009[1][2] and has since appeared in prêt-à-porter and Seoul Fashion Week collections until the present.

Under the stage name Kim Woo-bin, he began acting in 2011, and starred in mystery drama White Christmas and the cable sitcom Vampire Idol.[3][4] After a supporting role in 2012 romantic comedy A Gentleman's Dignity,[5][6][7] Kim joined the ensemble cast of up-and-coming actors in the teen drama School 2013.[8][9] This was followed by a role in Kim Eun-sook's high-profile trendy drama The Inheritors in 2013.[10]

In his first major film role, Kim was cast in Friend 2, sequel to Kwak Kyung-taek's 2001 box office hit.[11][12]

He became the host of music program M! Countdown beginning August 15, 2013.[13][14]
