Kingham Hill School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for children aged 11-18, located near the village of Kingham in Oxfordshire. It was founded by local landowner Charles Edward Baring Young in 1886, with buildings designed by the architect William Howard Seth-Smith.
The School today
Kingham Hill is a fee-paying day and boarding school. The school consists of nine houses, six of which are boarding and three are houses for day students. Students who board have the option of either staying all term or they can go to their parents or guardians on weekends. The whole school attends a chapel every morning and an evensong on Sunday evenings. Every other year the School organises a trip overseas for pupils to work for charitable organisations in countries such as Romania, Ukraine and Zambia.
Facilities
The school has a swimming pool, fitness suite, dance and drama studio, astro turf and tennis courts on site. These facilities are available for use by the local community at certain times. As well as sports pitches the 100 acres of grounds includes parkland, 30 acres of woodland and 8 acres of pasture housing the school's horses, sheep, alpacas and goats. In 2015 the School opened a new maths and science building, with six state of the art laboratories.

The Lodge houses the upper sixth girls in their own accommodation.
