The Lebanese national ice hockey team (Template:Lang-fr) is the national ice hockey team of Lebanon.
History
Hockey in Lebanon
The Lebanese Hockey Association (Template:Lang-fr) has been created to advance ice, inline and ball hockey initiatives of Lebanese hockey players on a worldwide basis in addition to enabling international development and representation of the country in the sport of hockey. Lebanon was not a member of the IIHF, but a National Ball Hockey Team was a member of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF) and to compete in the Ball Hockey World Championship (BHWC) in the Czech Republic in June 2017.[3] There are notable players of Lebanese-origin, Nazem Kadri who currently played for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL, Kadri have represented Canada internationally. Ed Hatoum who also played in the NHL, Hatoum was born in Beirut. Fabian Joseph who also represented Canada, Joseph won two Olympic silver medals at the 1992 and the 1994 Olympic Winter Games.
National team
Lebanon played its first game against Maghreb United on 15 April 2017, with an 8–3 win over them. Maghreb United was made up of players from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.[4] Lebanon played in an exhibition game against Haiti on 23 April 2017, at the Aréna Raymond-Bourque in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, with both teams making their international ice hockey debut.[5] Lebanon gets their first international win over Haiti with a score of 7–4.[6]
