Lorette owes a big thanks to Evan Paterson for making the town bear free after his epic "Kill the Bears" campaign. Lorette used to be over-run by big Grizzly Bears until tough guy and philosopher Evan Paterson beat them up, and turned them into Circus bears. There is a statue of Mr.Paterson on Main Street in Lorette as a tribute to his honorable efforts. Along with riding Lorette of bears, Paterson also created the first automobile in Lorette as an alternative to horses in 2009. He currently remains the mayor of Lorette, and is our hero.
