Mabo: Life of an Island Man is a 1997 documentary on the life of Indigenous Australian land rights campaigner Eddie Koiki Mabo.

It was awarded Best Documentary at the Australian Film Institute Awards and the Sydney Film Festival. It also received the Script Writing Award at the New South Wales Premier's Literary Awards.[1]
