Marcos Giron (born July 24, 1993) is an American professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 70 on 4 January 2021 and a doubles ranking of No. 199 on 1 July 2019. He won the men's singles in the Ojai Tennis Tournament in 2011.[1] In 2014, Giron won the singles title at the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship for UCLA.[2]
Professional Career
2020-2021
Giron reached the second round of a Grand Slam at the 2020 US Open (tennis) for the first time in his career. In November 2020, Giron recorded his first top ten win against Matteo Berrettini at the Paris Masters.[3]
In February 2021, Giron participated in the 2021 Australian Open for a second consecutive year.
In June 2021, Giron reached the third round of a Grand Slam at the 2021 French Open for the first time in his career.
