Kazhakkoottam-Menamkulam (village) is a village in Thiruvananthapuram district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]

It is 4 km from Technopark and Kazhakoottom railway station.

Menamkulam is the new upcoming residential district in trivandrum which is home to major private & public infrastructure. Menamkulam was home for 2015 national games. Institutions like Kinfra industrial park, Marian engineering college, ST.Xavier college are located here. Many residential projects including apartments and villas are placed here. This place is conveniently located near to national highway , bypass and beach road. Menamkulam beach is getting crowded with local and foreign tourists.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Kazhakkoottam-Menamkulam (village) had a population of 20,209, with 10,027 males and 10,182 females.[1]
