Michael "Mike" Starr (born July 29, 1950) is an American actor. Starr is notable for his large size, standing 6 ft 3 1/2 in (192 cm), and has typically been typecast as thugs or henchmen.

Starr was born in Flushing, Queens, New York to a retail employee mother and a meatpacker father. A graduate of Hofstra University, he and his family reside in Riverdale, New York. His older brother Beau Starr is also an actor.[1]

He has featured in notable films such as Goodfellas, The Bodyguard, Ed Wood, Miller's Crossing, Jersey Girl, Dumb and Dumber, and The Ice Harvest.
