More Life

More Life is an upcoming playlist by Canadian hip hop recording artist Drake. It is scheduled to be released in December 2016, by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records.^[2] It is set to feature production from 40, Boi-1da, Cardo, Frank Dukes, Fraser T. Smith, Maneesh Bidaye and Vinylz, among others.^[3]

Background

More Life was devised as the follow-up project to Drake's fourth studio album, Views, and was not classed as a mixtape or an album.^[4] During an interview with Complex, Drake debuted the project with the intention of "[creating] a playlist to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life."^[5] The playlist borrows its name from a Jamaican slang phrase to wish someone well, popularized by dancehall artist, Vybz Kartel.^[6]

Promotion

More Life was supported by two singles: "Fake Love" and "Sneakin'", featuring 21 Savage. Both singles were premiered on October 24, during Drake's 30th birthday episode of OVO Sound Radio.^[7] "Fake Love" and "Sneakin'" were released as singles five days later, alongside "Two Birds, One Stone".^[8]
