Now That's What I Call Music! 29 was released on November 11, 2008. The album is the 29th edition of the (US) Now! series and debuted on the Billboard 200 at number three. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA on December 16, 2008.

Now! 29 features three Billboard Hot 100 number one hits: "So What", "Disturbia" and "Whatever You Like".
