Oliver Holzwarth (born 19 October 1967) is a German bass guitarist. Oliver is best known as the live/studio bass player for Blind Guardian between 1998 and 2012, and as an official member of Rhapsody of Fire from 2010 to 2014. His brother, drummer Alex Holzwarth, was also a member of Rhapsody of Fire. Moreover, he is a member of the side project Coldseed.

He also was the bass player of the progressive metal band Sieges Even, which he and his brother were founding members of, and played bass for power metal band Power Quest. In 2009–2010, he toured with Tarja Turunen.[1]

In 2011, he released an EP called The Mirror of Silence with Pergana.[2] He also joined Rhapsody of Fire as a permanent member following the departure of Patrice Guers until his departure in August 2014.
