Constitutional Assembly elections were held in Paraguay on 7 May 1967.[1] The Colorado Party won 80 of the 120 seats.[2] Voter turnout was 68.9%.[2] Following the election, the country's fifth constitution was promulgated in August.[3] The new constitution allowed President Alfredo Stroessner to run for two more terms in office.[3]
