Polish Film Awards: Eagles (Polish: Polskie Nagrody Filmowe: Orły) are a film awards ceremony given annually since 1999,[1] with the first event held on June 21, by the Country Chamber of Audiovisual Producers [pl]. Since 2003 they are given out by the Polish Film Academy. Their status in the Polish film industry can be compared with Academy Awards.[citation needed]
