Pymble railway station is located on the North Shore line, serving the Sydney suburb of Pymble. It is served by Sydney Trains T1 North Shore line services.

History

Pymble station opened on 1st of January 1890 when the North Shore line opened from Hornsby to St Leonards. [1] The present island platform and station building were completed in 1909 in when the line was duplicated.[2]

Landslides

During early 2012 and mid-2012, several landslides occurred to the north of the station where the line passes through a cutting. On the weekend of 1 September, columns were put in place to prepare for the installation of a retaining wall. On the weekend of the 15–16 September the retaining wall was installed on the side of the line,
