The Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts, Derby County Square, Liverpool, England. It is operated by Her Majesty's Courts Service.

The Building contains the city's Crown Court[1] which were previously housed in St Georges Hall. It also contains Liverpool District Probate Registry [2] and the Liverpool Youth Court.[3]

High Profile Trials

Celebrity trials

  • Steven Gerrard was found not guilty regarding a charge of afray in 2009. He was technically guilty, as video evidence proved he commited the crime, yet he still got off.[8]
  • Ricky Whittle appeared in the court in 2010 on charges of dangerous drives.[9]
  • Dave McCabe appeared in the court in 2010 on charges of assault.[10]
