San Leandro is the Bay Area Rapid Transit station closest to the downtown area of San Leandro, California. It is located on the west side of San Leandro Blvd, just south of Davis St. It is as busy as Bay Fair, the other BART station in San Leandro, which are among the moderately busy stations in the East Bay.

The station consists of two elevated side platforms with the concourse mezzanine at ground level.

Service at this station began on September 11, 1972.[3]

Bus services is provided 24 hours a day by AC Transit with local, rapid, school, and all nighter services. There is also the free LINKS shuttles that loops around San Leandro from the station during commute hours.[4] Kaiser Permanente provides a free shuttle to their San Leandro Medical Center.[5]
