Chiesa di Santa Maria alla Porta is a church in Milan, Italy. It was built in 1652 and designed by architect Francesco Maria Richini.

Probably already existing in the twelfth century, the present church of Santa Maria alla Porta was erected in Milan during the Spanish rule in year 1652 by architect Richini. The project was completed by Francesco Borromini who was responsible for the construction of the baroque portal and the overhanging tympanum. The church owes its toponymic suffix alla Porta (by the gate) being it built on the spot where stood the ancient city gate Porta Vercellina, part of the walls erected in the Republican era from Caesar Augustus.
