Sarileru Neekevvaru (transl. Nobody Can Match You) is an upcoming 2020 Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi.[1] The film stars Mahesh Babu as Indian Army Major Ajay Krishna while Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead role. Sarileru Neekevvaru also features Vijayashanti, Prakash Raj, Satya Dev, Pradeep Rawat, Hari Teja, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Prasad, Subbaraju, Vennela Kishore and Ajay.
The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 24 January 2020, during the Makar Sankranti festival.[2]

Production
Development
After many speculations movie title was announced as Sarileru Neekevvaru,[4] On May 31, 2019, 75th birthday of Krishna, the makers unveiled the title poster.[5] Shyamprasad Reddy and others graced the occasion as guests.[6]
Casting
Rashmika Mandanna was signed to play leading lady in the movie opposite Mahesh Babu.[7] Vijayashanti was signed in for this film,[8] which marks as her comeback after 13-years.[9] Tamannaah was signed in for a Special appearance song, which was canned on both Mahesh and her.[10]
Filming
The first schedule was shot in Kashmir from July 5, 2019 to July 20, 2019.[11][12] For the second schedule, a replica set of Konda Reddy Buruju was constructed in Ramoji Film City with an estimated cost of ₹4 crore (US$480,000).[13] On 8 November 2019, with Kerala schedule the talkie part of the film wrapped up.[14]

On August 15, 2019, coinciding with the Indian Independence day, released a tribute song Sarileru Neekevvaru for Indian Army for their bravery and sacrifice for the country, which was sung by Deepak Blue and lyrics penned by Devi Sri Prasad.[15] Makers has announced that album will consist 5 songs and will be released every Monday of December 2019.[16] Mind Block track was released on 2 December 2019, which was sung by Blaaze, Ranina Reddy and lyrics were penned by Sri Mani, Devi Sri Prasad.[17] Suryudivo Chandrudivo track was released on 9 December 2019, which was sung by B Praak[18] and lyrics were penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. Which was termed as Mahesh's favorite song from album.[19]
Music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.[20]

Release
The production team announced that they have planned to release the film on 11 January 2020 with a 10 January 2020 US release, coinciding with Sankranthi.[21]
Marketing
An intro video of Mahesh Babu was unveiled on his birthday, 9 August 2019, in which he is seen as an army officer.[22] On the occasion of Vijayadashami 8 October 2019, a poster was released in which Mahesh sports an axe in front of Konda Reddy Fort.[23] On the occasion of Diwali 26 October 2019, two posters were released in which Mahesh is seen riding a bike(Royal Enfield),[24] and in another poster team introduced Vijayashanti as Bharathi.[25] The Official Teaser of the film was released on November 22, 2019.[26] On August 15, 2019, coinciding with the Indian Independence day, the title song of the film was released as tribute to the Indian Army.[27]
