Sebastien Uchechukwu Ibeagha (born January 21, 1992) is an American soccer player who currently plays for New York City FC in Major League Soccer.

Career

College & Semi-Professional

Ibeagha played four years of college soccer at Duke University from 2010 to 2013.[1]

While at college, Ibeagha also appeared for Premier Development League side Carolina Dynamo.[2][better source needed]

Professional

After college, Ibeagha forgoed a homegrown contract with the Houston Dynamo and instead signed with Danish side AC Horsens.[3] While with Horsens he spent time on loan with FC Fredericia and Fram Reykjavík.[4]

Ibeagha signed with Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo on January 26, 2016.[5]

Ibeagha was sent on loan to Houston's United Soccer League affiliate club Rio Grande Valley FC Toros in March 2016.[6]

Ibeagha signed with Major League Soccer side New York City FC on February 27, 2018.

Personal

Ibeagha's brother, Christian Ibeagha, currently plays for Oklahoma City Energy.[7]
