"Shade: The Rusical" is the fourth episode of the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race,[1] which aired on March 17, 2014.

The episode features a Rusical (musical theatre challenge) of the same name, composed by Lucian Piane.[2] In the episode, Courtney Act won the challenge and April Carrión was eliminated from the competition.
Reception
[edit]In Magazine ranked "Shade" the seventh best Rusical on Drag Race in 2018.[3] In 2020, Bernado Sim of Screen Rant deemed the Rusical among the show's best and called "Shade" an "absolute fan-favorite".[4] Stephen Daw of Billboard ranked "Shade" ninth in a 2023 list of Rusicals on RuPaul's Drag Race.[5]
