Shisō (宍粟市, Shisō-shi) is a city in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.

The modern city of Shisō was established on April 1, 2005, from the merger of four towns from Shisō District: Chikusa, Haga, Ichinomiya, and Yamasaki.

As of February 28, 2018, the city has an estimated population of 38,488, with 14,602 households, and a population density of 59 persons per km².[1] The total area is 658.60 km².
