Spacewatch is a project at the University of Arizona as of 2011 led by Robert S. McMillan that specializes in the study of minor planets, including various types of asteroids and comets. It was founded in 1980 by Tom Gehrels and McMillan.[1][2]

Notable discoveries

The project has also rediscovered 719 Albert, a long-lost asteroid.
