Águila Roja → Red Eagle (2009 TV series) – Red Eagle is the English translation. ☴ Jaewon [Talk] 15:55, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. We don't rename titles in any Wikipedia encyclopedia simply for the sake of translating them. Otherwise we might as well translate our English Wikipedia Cerro de Punta into its English translation Point Peak? and our English Wikipedia El Mundo (Venezuela) into its English translation The World (Venezuela)? and our English Wikipedia Aerolíneas Argentinas into its English translation Argentine Airlines? or our English Wikipedia Julio Iglesias into its English translation July Churches? or our English Wikipedia Menudo into its English translation Change (music band)? or our English Wikipedia Los Angeles into its English translation The Angels (city), or our English Wikipedia Cuéntame cómo pasó into our English translation Tell Me How It Happened, and so on for thousands of other articles from foreign language TV series, foreign companies, foreign publications, foreign events, etc. In the same fashion the, for example, Spanish Wikipedia has, for example, articles titled es:American Airlines not its Spanish translation Aerolíneas Norteamericanas, and one titled es:Bank of America not its Spanish translation Banco de América, and another one titled es:General Motors not its Spanish translation Motores Generales, etc., etc., etc. While we may include the English translation in the opening sentence of the English Wikipedia article, we very rarely ever rename the articles themsleves - and even less so if they, as with Águila Roja, refer to a proper noun or official name. - Oppose per WP:UE and per usage in English Google Books. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:53, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
