Riesenrad

[edit]

Hallo! I just want to inform you, that the entry for Riesenrad is wrong in this context. The Riesenrad was built 1897 and opened 3. july 1897 for the celebrations 1898, (50th year of the reign of Kaiser Franz Joseph I.. You can find me for further questions at the german wikipedia (I have no accout here) Josef Hess

Phrasing

[edit]

Oddly enough, the English Wikipedia USES ENGLISH. The German words are parenthetical. Similarly, LEAD with the article's name, not the German version of the article's name. — LlywelynII 02:17, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

[edit]

Some of the information in the infobox doesn't match what the TNM reports, which presumably ultimately came from Sano's report. He may have been mistaken in some particulars and the infobox may be from more accurate German accounts, but at the moment the Japanese stuff has a cite and the infobox doesn't. I'll just leave the page disagreeing with itself until some more reliable sources come along and verify/discredit the TNM ones. — LlywelynII 03:07, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Illés relief of Jerusalem

[edit]

The Illés Relief of Jerusalem was displayed in the Ottoman Pavilion at the 1873 Vienna World's Fair, not in the Russian one. Drz (talk) 10:31, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
